    Ali Taka
  • My name is Allison Taka and I am a 2010 graduate of UCLA, where I was a 4 year member of the women's basketball team. Receiving a scholarship to play basketball at UCLA was an amazing experience and provided me with the opportunity to improve my skills and compete at the highest level. Go Bruins! Before college I played at Culver City High School and for the Venice Youth Council (VYC) on the Venice Fireballs. I began playing in the Japanese leagues and tournaments when I was six years old, and it was there that I developed my love for the game. I credit much of my basketball success to VYC and the Japanese basketball community!
